Advertised Job Summary:The Student Relations Coordinator will support our students in areas that include Scholarship and Fellowships, Class Climate Evaluations (dissemination, downloading, and distribution of results to faculty), communications with undergraduates (eg., notifications of research or scholarship opportunities, liaising with Advisors), student events, recruitment activities (e.g., Family Weekend and Open House events), and Alumni Relations & communications (department newsletter, social media accounts). They will also help with the daily operations of the department or undergraduate office, as necessary. The Department of Biological Sciences is USC’s largest major and is multi-faceted in terms of its research and teaching missions.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Prefer experience in Higher Education.

Job Duty:Compile data files for online faculty/TA evaluations before the end of the semester using the University’s Class Climate software. Disseminate results to Faculty and Teacher Assistants (TA) and file IAW University Record Policy.
