Part-time Lecturer, Engineering
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of
the Pacific invites applications for part-time, non-tenure-track
positions, to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate
courses in Engineering and related disciplines. Applicants with
qualifications to teach any undergraduate, graduate, and non-major
courses in engineering or research methods are invited to apply. An
MS or doctorate degree is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants must have an MS or doctorate degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are
essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have prior college-level teaching
experience, a positive attitude, and proven ability to work
successfully with diverse populations, and a commitment to promote
diversity and inclusion.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse
backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity,
and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices
and knowledge in their work.

Work is primarily performed in standard office and classroom

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is performed primarily
during standard business hours, but evening courses could be
assigned based on the applicant's availability.
