Instructor, Undergraduate (Temporary Employee Pool)
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
The Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific
invites applications for a part-time faculty appointment to teach
undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
The candidate must be able to provide instruction at the
undergraduate and/or graduate level. Potential courses taught would
include:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Business Analytics
- Management & Human Resources
- Marketing
- International Business
- Sport Management
- Sport Analytics
- Entrepreneurship
- Other related courses.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in area of teaching plus depth and breadth of
work experience in both level and duration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in area of teaching.
- Instructional experiences at the college level in field of
teaching.
- Work experience in related disciplines and field of
teaching.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse
backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity,
and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices
and knowledge in their work.

Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist
motion while using a computer keyboard and phone. Occasional

reaching. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Schedule is dependent on department needs. Must be available to
teach evenings.
