experience.
Position Description:
The primary focus of this position will encompass the provision of

quality submissions from the UMN-VMC, which is one of the busiest

Pathology Laboratory largely derive from patients presenting to the
UMN-VMC, principally from the Oncology, Surgery, Internal Medicine,
and Primary Care services. This allows the successful applicant
ample opportunity to further develop their clinical and teaching
skills in a collaborative, busy, and vibrant teaching hospital. No
on-call or weekend service is expected.
Teaching & Professional Development:
Upon hire, the faculty member will be assigned a mentorship
committee. This committee will work with the newly-hired faculty
member to create a personalized professional development plan to
facilitate progressive growth and development. During this period,
there will be an incremental and mentored onboarding of teaching
