About the Role
We are seeking either a lecturer in Audiology – Teaching Specialist (Academic) or Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner), who will create and coordinate teaching that enhances the student experience, with a focus on Audiology topics and will also be responsible for the planning and evaluation of these topics and undertake the role of topic coordination when required.
The incumbent will also be required to make an independent contribution to maintaining internal and external compliance and accreditation of courses.

About You
With significant evidence and excellence in teaching at a tertiary level, you have a strong understanding of the nexus between teaching and learning, research, scholarship and practice. Your excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, enable you to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and industry.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- A Completion of a PhD or EdD or equivalent qualification in Audiology related area.
- Hold and maintain a current membership with Audiology Australia.
- Evidence of an independent contribution to the development, delivery and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning strategies, including student assessment.
- A responsibility for topic coordination and/or curriculum design.
- Evidence of reflective practice.
Additionally, the Lecturer – Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner), will have relevant and contemporary clinical experience in Audiology, an understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to Audiology. They will also have demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching performance at a tertiary level, inclusive of simulation and/or clinical setting and placement coordination.
