Contracts and Residence Experience (CARE)
This part-time (29.2hrs per week over 4 days, Mon – Thurs) role is available on a permanent basis.
The team has a flexible approach to working and you have the option to choose a hybrid approach to working hours with 2 days spent in the office and 2 days working from home. IT equipment will be provided to facilitate this.
Summary of the role
We are looking for an inquisitive and process-driven person to join the CARE team to assist with the delivery of a comprehensive and effective student conduct, discipline and complaints process within the University Residences, ensuring consistent, fair and timely outcomes for our students. This will be achieved by investigating allegations of minor breaches within the residences in accordance with the University Disciplinary process.
The role will require you to work with various teams and provide a proactive approach to providing relevant information to students to ensure that all interactions are as positive as they can be whilst providing essential information and guidance to students whose behaviour may have fallen below the expected standard. To assist in hosting Disciplinary meetings whilst taking a detailed record of the narrative, so a formal outcome can be created. Although the meetings can result in disciplinary action being taken, the CARE team have also been creating informative workshops for the students to attend as well as /or instead of other formal penalties that may be imposed. We are looking for the right person who would be able to work with the team to create more incentives like these workshops and other general information-sharing campaigns.
You will be joining a small but effective Team which include a number of different specialities to complement each other and the student journey.
As a member of the CARE team, you will support the Contracts Manager and will take a proactive approach to ensure the efficient day to day running of all aspects of the residences as per the service level agreement in place with our main partner accommodation provider, UPP, and any purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) providers we nominate to.

Salary will be from £27,644 (pro rata) with an annual increment rising up to £30,805 on Grade D, subject to knowledge, skills and experience.
