Job Title:ACUP Administrative CoordinatorDepartment:ERIK | University Laboratory and Animal Resources
The Administrative Coordinator for the Animal Care and Use Program (ACUP) will coordinate and provide administrative support to supporting units under the direction of the Senior Director. These units include the Office of the Attending Veterinarian (OAV), IACUC Staff, and University Laboratory Animal Resources (ULAR). Coordinates the scheduling of meetings, recruitment interviews, onboarding/offboarding activities, resident courses, events, and orientation. Acts as the initial contact for all job applicants and new hires. Conducts onboarding and offboarding activities. Assists with compiling information and generating new supporting materials as needed for annual reports and grant submissions for student externship programs and LAM residency program. Provides support in updating online forms, websites, fliers, and other materials for respective units. Gathers and organizes data, information, and/or materials as requested by faculty in support of ACUP activities. Coordinates and maintains records. Manages the access control database and ensures regulatory requirements are completed for all staff and contracts requesting building access. Coordinates the physical key inventory and annual maintenance. Manages records disposition and retention per the OSU policy. Provides periodic evaluation of employee engagement and satisfaction during semiannual and annual review process to measure employee satisfaction. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
Required: Minimum required education is High School diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience; competent in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel). Excellent customer service abilities and organizational skills.
Desired: Minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience desired.

Additional Information:
The pay range for this position is $18.17 to $23.90 per hour. The offer for this position will fall within this pay range based on internal equity, the candidate's qualifications, and the unit's available budget being the primary determining factor.
