Description
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is seeking applicants for a Clinical Instructor – Fellow position in the Division of Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery. This is a 1-year fellowship, with a second year optional. The fellow will participate in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with all aspects of Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery, with focus on extirpative surgery, complicated salivary/endocrine surgery, microvascular reconstruction, skull base surgery, and transoral robotic/transoral laser endoscopic approaches. The fellow will have exposure to a multidisciplinary team of experts in radiation oncology, medical oncology, surgical pathology, speech rehabilitation, etc. The fellow will also participate in teaching residents and students through rounds, clinic, OR, Grand Rounds, journal club, M&M, Tumor Board and fresh cadaver lab sessions. Responsibilities include taking primary attending call and having an independent clinic.

Candidates must have an MD, or equivalent degree, and have successfully completed an Otolaryngology Residency program (5 years) by the time of hire. Preference will be given to individuals Board certified or Board Eligible by the ABO-HNS.
