Advertised Job Summary:Are you passionate about leading transformative leadership programs and inspiring the next generation of nursing leaders? The College of Nursing at the University of South Carolina is excited to invite applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Nursing Leadership (CNL). We seek a dedicated educator to provide visionary leadership for the Center for Nursing Leadership’s key programs and serve as a faculty member in our graduate nursing programs. This is a 50% administrative role.
Position Highlights:
- Oversee the CNL, including the Amy V. Cockcroft Leadership Fellowship, the Annual Leadership Summit, and the Viana McCown Lectureship, managing faculty selection, marketing, curriculum development, participant evaluation, continuing education units, and program improvement.
- Deliver engaging classroom and clinical instruction tailored to the needs of post-licensure students.
- Collaborate with a team committed to evidence-based practice, innovative teaching methods, and the latest simulation technology.
- Enjoy a balanced role that includes teaching, leadership, and scholarly opportunities, all within a vibrant and supportive academic community.

Required Education and Experience:- Holds an earned doctorate in nursing.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of two years practicing in an executive leadership role.
- Teaching & Mentorship: Minimum of two years of experience mentoring and teaching graduate nursing students.
- Licensure: Eligible for active, unencumbered nursing licensure in South Carolina
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) documentation is required.
- Communication & Innovation: Exceptional skills in communication, program development, and team leadership are expected.
