About the role:

The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated academic to lead our Assessment Team.

The post holder will lead on all aspects of delivery and quality assurance of assessment for the School of Medicine and Dentistry programmes to maintain academic standards and enhance the quality of the student experience. The successful candidate will support School engagement with the professional bodies it works with and to monitor and report on the progress of Course Teams in meeting the quality assurance requirements of those bodies.

About you:

The right candidate will have significant experience of leading and supporting assessment activities in a Higher Education setting and of delivering assessment in line with regulatory body standards. Applicants will have an Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent) and Higher Degree (or working towards) in a relevant subject and have a professional teaching qualification or membership of the HE Academy.
