The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to joinCervus Plusas an Information Governance Officer. Reporting to the Information Governance Manager, you will assist the team with ensuring the delivery of a best practice service to our clients.
What are we looking for
The postholder should be able to communicate with people at all levels, operate with high level of attention to detail, and possess some technical skills. The post holder will need to understand aspects of information governance and data protection legislation and to apply these rules to day-to-day tasks.
Responsibility
- Manage the day-to-day data subject access requests and freedom of Information requests on OneTrust
- Manage the day-to-day enquiries internally and externally
- Support the Deputy DPO with regards data breaches/incidents in a timely manner
- Support the management of the Information Asset Register (IAR), which is part of the Records of Processing Activity (RoPA).
- Support the management of asset owners and documentation into OneTrust
- Assist the DPO and Deputy DPO with Records Management tasks, and advise colleagues on the maintenance of records, electronically and paper.
- Support teams in complying with the Data Protection Act 2018 principles
- Provide reports to DPO and Deputy DPO on DSAR’s and FoI Requests
