We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the administration of the School, Faculty and University.
The Business School invites applications for an Associate Professor in Management. The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a balanced teaching / research role where there is an expectation the candidate can demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality research and teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, international business, management and marketing, as well as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high quality research programs at the honours, master’s and PhD level.
To be successful at the Associate Professor, Level D you will need:
- A PhD in Management.
- A commitment to excellence in teaching and ability to teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- An outstanding record of successful higher degree research student supervision and completions.
- Evidence of being able to attract research grants and publish in leading A* ABDC ranked journals.
- Evidence of holding administrative roles within university.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Evidence of innovation in learning and teaching, including curriculum design.
- Demonstrated capacity to significantly contribute to curriculum design and review including, where possible, the design or implementation of cross-Faculty, cross-Campus or team-taught units, courses, or projects.
- Proven track record of building leading research teams and mentoring more junior academics across disciplines.
