Summary of the role
We are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to undertake the development and creation of blended and online learning content. This full-time permanent post is available immediately within the Learning Development team. The postholder will support the development of a range of blended and online degrees and short courses. With a keen eye for detail, you will support the build and quality assurance of the online courses, working alongside colleagues to incorporate graphics, animations and video content, as well as activities and assessments within the core virtual learning environment.
This post will work as a member of the Learning Development team working alongside colleagues to design, build and support several online programmes across the University. The postholder will use the core virtual learning environment (Moodle) to transform the designed curriculum into exciting and engaging online courses. As part of the Universities 2030 strategy several ambitious targets have been set to launch new fully online programmes. This post is a key part of this work, bringing the courses to life online within the virtual learning environment.

The starting salary will be from £27,644 on Grade D, depending on qualifications and experience.
