Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed-term: for 24 months

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Research Support Officer to provide pre- and post- award support for research projects and grant application in the School. You will take a leading role in monitoring expenditure against available funds, providing recommendations to Principal Investigators on how to optimise use of available funds, ensuring compliance with funder regulations.

Your skills and attributes for success:

High levels of numeracy and accuracy.
Strong financial management skills.
Experience of research grant management.
Ability to work independently, and prioritise a busy workload.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to use tact and diplomacy.

£34,132 to £39,355 per annum (Grade 6)
