Would you like the opportunity to take a leading role in improving student experience?
Are you looking for a new challenge where you can be the driving force in shaping a new service to Oxford University students?
If so, this is a unique opportunity, working for both the University of Oxford and colleges, to take up the reins of a brand-new service.
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (2 years, with potential to extend)
You will be based at the Malthouse in the central Estates Services, but working across the city with all colleges.
The service:
The Collegiate Accommodation Support Service has been set up to support graduate students who have not received housing from their own college in accessing vacant rooms elsewhere in the collegiate estate.
We are looking for the right person to grow the service over the next two years, with an eye on how it can further support the journey of Oxford students in relation to their accommodation.
About the role
Based in Estates Services but working across all colleges, The Collegiate Accommodation Service Manager will work with Accommodation Managers in colleges as well as the Graduate Accommodation Service in Estates to assist students to find accommodation that meets their needs when their own college is full.
You’ll design the policies, systems and processes that make it easier for students to access college housing—improving transparency, streamlining applications and enhancing the student experience. Working closely with colleges, Graduate Admissions, the Student Union and others, you’ll manage day-to-day operations while also driving strategy, performance and long-term growth. This is your chance to shape a service that will have lasting impact on graduate life across the University.
The manager will report to college and University committees on the performance of the service and propose ideas for growth and improvement.
