To advance the design and delivery of a world-leading research service, we have an exciting new role for an Assistant Director (Research Culture, Engagement and Impact).
This is a leadership position that combines leading existing key research operations, including the Research Impact, Engagement with Research, and Research Culture teams, shaping future-facing research service through a dedicated Research Services Programme and supporting the delivery of our Research and Innovation Strategy.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience of delivering research services in the HE sector at a management level. They will have demonstrable leadership, influencing and engagement skills which will support effective collaboration across the University. This will be combined with a thorough understanding of developing research culture, engagement and impact for academics and the range of services that best enable them.
This is an exciting opportunity for the role holder to shape our future research services and lead a research services community that are committed to building on current strengths to enable world-leading research for the future.
