About the role
The Department of Business Administration at RMIT's School of Management is seeking an innovative Lecturer of Management and Technology. This position focuses on teaching and research excellence and will contribute to our industry-leading MBA, EMBA, and undergraduate business programs.
We welcome applicants with expertise in areas such as technological innovation and management, digital transformation, technology and strategy, workforce transformation and AI, leadership in digital and AI contexts, business analytics for decision-making, human-AI collaboration in organisations, AI and human resources, and other related subdomains.
As a Lecturer, you will design and deliver engaging, industry-relevant courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; develop high-quality curriculum materials incorporating digital and innovative teaching methods; provide leadership in course coordination and support student learning; engage with industry and professional networks to enhance student employability and program impact; and contribute to basic/fundamental and applied research that informs business practice.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- PhD or equivalent in Management (ideally with a specialisation or strong alignment with Technology)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs in Management, including online delivery with digital technologies, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting and collaborating with students, industry, government, and academic partners
- Ability to undertake course coordination role.
- Ability to engage and inspire diverse student cohorts
- Emerging track record of publications in high-ranked journals
- Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.

The School of Management is part of the College of Business and Law. The School is comprised of four Departments: The Department of Human Resource Management, the Department of Management and Organisation, the Department of International Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Business Administration.
