Summary
Provides support to the HES4A Director in the planning, coordination, and implementation of cohort-building events, master classes, writing retreats, and trainings for scholars; assists with calendar management; and will assist in coordinating communications with the P4HE Team, with outside vendors, key administrators and offices at Tulane. Tasks include assisting in the scheduling and management of virtual activities, and the drafting and creation of related materials; managing mailing lists; drafting various communications materials, expense tracking, and invoice processing. Performs other tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have thorough attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, strong writing and grammar skills, experience with Concur, and experience managing multi-cohort research training program administration.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent• Three years of directly related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in science, statistics, public health or related field• More than 3 years of directly-related work experience• Public health or health equity research experience• Experience managing virtual programming• Experience working in academic settings • Experience in Public Health • Scholarly writing experience
