Job Summary The Department of Research, Counseling, and Curriculum (RCC) in the College of Education and Human Development at Augusta University seeks a Post-Award Grant Manager to serve as the Project Coordinator for the Train and Retain Program. The Project Coordinator will serve as a liaison between all grant personnel and will oversee the daily scope and sequence of activities within the Train & Retain project, funded through the Department of Education. This role involves comprehensive management of restricted grant accounts, ensuring compliance with all funding requirements while facilitating effective communication with constituents. The ideal candidate will support Principal Investigators (PIs) by providing accurate financial reports, monitoring compliance, and helping to implement program objectives.
Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to:
GRANT MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT: Provide full oversight of post-award grant management, including budget tracking, compliance monitoring, planning, and reporting. Collaborate with PIs to prepare financial reports, track fund status, and ensure alignment with program objectives. Supervise student assistant(s) to ensure effective coordination of grant activities.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Implement a detailed project plan with timelines, deliverables, and milestones to meet grant objectives within scope and budget. Coordinate with educational institutions, school districts, key personnel, and mental health agencies to ensure program alignment. Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective grant management.
BUDGET AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT: Oversee the grant budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of funds and tracking of expenditures in compliance with funding requirements. Conduct budget monthly reviews and prepare financial documentation to ensure accountability and transparency. Complete monthly reconciliation and reporting of budgets as required by state guidelines. Oversee P-Card transactions, requisitions, and reimbursements.
EVALUATION AND MEASUREMENT: Works closely and collaborates with the external evaluator to ensure outcomes are achieved. Develop and maintain a system for monitoring progress toward achieving program objectives, including data collection and analysis. Prepare and submit required reports to funding agencies, detailing progress, and maintaining thorough documentation of grant-related activities.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, community partners, mental health agencies, and local authorities. Facilitate communication among stakeholders to promote a collaborative approach to achieving grant objectives.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING: Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including legal and regulatory guidelines. Maintain audit readiness through thorough documentation and adherence to university, state, and federal policies. Time and effort reporting of staff and faculty.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university combined with five years of relevant experience.
ORMaster's degree from an accredited college or university combined with three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education: Master's degree in education, public administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Experience: Experience with federal and state grant regulations and financial management.

Salary: Minimum $68,500/annual
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.
