Position Summary
DESCRIPTION:
The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator will spearhead many responsibilities centered around attracting prospective students to York College of Pennsylvania. Operating within the Institutional and Enrollment Marketing department, this role will oversee project management for various marketing initiatives, including print publications, direct mail, social media content, and digital communications. A pivotal aspect of the Coordinator's role involves crafting compelling content for our strategic storytelling endeavors and the York College blog.
Additionally, the Coordinator will support the York College visit program by meticulously managing the inventory of print materials and promotional items. Acting as the primary point of contact for enrollment marketing inquiries, the Coordinator will communicate with faculty, staff, prospective families, and the broader campus community, embodying York College's conversational, supportive, and friendly tone.
The role encompasses assisting the Director of Enrollment Marketing in strategic planning, excellent project management skills, and a keen awareness of emerging trends and opportunities within our target audiences. By ensuring the enrollment team remains organized and informed, the Coordinator will play a vital role in driving the institution's enrollment objectives forward.
OUTCOMES:
Serve as an integral team member within the Department of Institutional and Enrollment Marketing. Collaborates with the Director of Enrollment Marketing to allow the College to achieve its marketing and enrollment goals.
Essential Functions
Project Management – 45%
Manage all projects for Enrollment Marketing, utilizing York College’s marketing project management system, WorkZone.Maintain enrollment publication inventory and establish a process for annual updates.Maintain Enrollment Marketing resources and Google Drive, reflecting an easy-to-follow organization.Establish timelines for event and marketing campaigns to ensure deadlines are met and materials are available according to the needs of the enrollment team and admission cycle.Coordinate bi-annual photoshoots with campus photographers, videographers, and third-party vendors.
Content Creation and Management – 45%Assist the Director and Associate Director with the creation of email content.Coordinate and implement the entry of email content into York College’s CRM, Slate.Using tools such as Canva or the Adobe Suite, create infographics, social media graphics, and artwork for print pieces.Write student profiles, academic program highlights, blog content, or other related content for web and print use.Coordinate with the Institutional Marketing Department in cross-marketing efforts.In coordination with the Director, manage the content of all admissions marketing collateral, welcome center and event materials, and academic program guides to ensure they are up to date for each enrollment cycle.Identify and interview current students and alums to develop assets for marketing collateral and direct communications, including written content, photos, and videos.
Additional Duties – 10%Monitor the Enrollment Marketing inbox to field requests from other departments, faculty, and staff.Assist with website updates as needed.Represent the College and support the enrollment team, as needed, at open houses, orientation, other campus visit events, and other enrollment-related visit opportunities.Offer insight during team meetings based on personal experiences and observations through monitoring social media and engaging with students.Experience and Education RequiredBachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, English/Writing or Communications is required. At least one year experience in Marketing/social media is required, with a preference for admissions and/or enrollment activities. Strong content writing and editing skills are required.Required Skills and QualificationsMust have demonstrated marketing skills and the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and various administrative offices. Strong oral and written communication, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills, are required. Adept at various digital platforms and tools and must demonstrate competency in creating artwork and graphic elements. Self-starter and problem solver, have project management skills, and pay extreme attention to detail. Work independently as part of an office team and handle stress in a busy office atmosphere.Must be able to lift and carry recruitment materialsMust be available to work some Saturdays and eveningsMust be willing to travel, including out of state and overnight, as required for professional development and recruitment opportunities. The position may require up to 5% travel.Must have a valid driver's license.
