Position Summary:The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Administrative Support Specialist to the Vice Chair for Research of Psychiatry, providing administrative support to enable the Vice Chair for Research of Psychiatry to effectively accomplish goals of his position, including but not limited to administrative support for the Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health including UNC STEP Community Clinics at Carr Mill and Wake County.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and Adobe programs (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:Knowledge of cloud document systems is preferred, along with social media management skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in graphic design and event planning experience. Previous experience working with mental health professionals is a plus.
