The Economics Department at Lafayette College invites applications from qualified individuals for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Economics beginning July 1, 2025, for a two-year term. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education. The successful candidates will teach Principles of Economics and Intermediate Macroeconomics, as well as elective courses that fit within the department's curriculum. This is a full-time appointment with a 3/3 teaching load each year.
Lafayette College is a highly selective, private undergraduate-only liberal arts college with 2,700 students located within 70 miles of New York City and Philadelphia. The Economics Department is comprised of 18 faculty members who are not only dedicated to teaching excellence, but are also accomplished and engaged scholars in their fields. Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete all requirements by July 1, 2025.
