SALARY & HOURS: Apprentice salary Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm

The Estates department is seeking a dedicated Estates Business Administration Apprentice to support key administrative functions. This role is essential to the daily operations of the department, assisting with general administration, purchase orders, accommodation support, helpdesk tasks, and reception duties.
As an apprentice, you’ll receive full mentoring and support from our experienced team, as well as the chance to complete an accredited apprenticeship qualification. This role will allow you to develop a broad range of skills and gain valuable exposure to various functions, from procurement and facilities management to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and management of purchase orders.
- Provide administrative support for accommodation services, particularly during peak periods.
- Help manage and log queries at the Estates helpdesk.
- Support post room and reception tasks, ensuring smooth operations during busy times.
- Assist with general administrative tasks across the department.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proactive and enthusiastic individual with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An interest in business administration and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
