We seek an experienced and highly motivated Country Manager in our Lagos Branch. Who will be crucial in maintaining a smooth and efficient office environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting. This role is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing operations in Lagos.
As a country Manager, you will also engage with students on a minimal level, which includes Student Counselling and assisting these students on their academic journey.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the local business environment.
3. Formulate and execute plans to expand market presence and increase revenue.
4. Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained.
5. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
6. Coordinate and Manage staff meetings, schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
7. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
8. Ensuring staff members in all departments meet targets per intake through efficient supervising and monitoring.
9. Ensure that results are measured against standards while making necessary changes.
10. Prepare monthly progress reports on the Lagos branch to be submitted to the Regional manager.
11. Provide administrative support to team members as needed.
12. Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences, including open office days, student fairs, webinars, etc.
13. Oversee staff interactions and respond to staff queries on office management Academic Counsellor Study Now issues.
14. Oversee client experience, sort mail, and answer direct phone calls.
15. Assist the accounts team in handling basic financial tasks, such as tracking expenses, processing invoices, and managing the office budget.
16. Address and resolve administrative issues promptly.
17. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency.
18. Organizing induction programs for new employees.
19. Weekly meetings with the Regional Manager on Branch operations (every Friday).
20. Assisting the organization's HR and finance functions by keeping personnel records up to date and arranging interviews were necessary.
21. Partner with HR and Senior Management to maintain office policies as necessary.
22. Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals, and reviewing industry publications/trends.
23. Provide general support to clients/students where necessary.
24. Coordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency
25. Evaluate and manage staff performance by coaching and mentoring.
26. Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
27. Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.
28. Calling, counseling and Converting students.
29. Review and evaluate student applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
30. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
31. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
Additional Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of the education systems and study opportunities in US, UK, Canada, or Europe, including admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship options.
• Familiarity with relevant educational institutions, courses, and programs in the target study destinations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating successful outcomes in the field of overseas study consulting. • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for customer relationship management and data tracking.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in overseas study consulting.
• Strong problem-solving and Conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet staff and individual student needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and applications.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of changes in the industry.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs and participate in promotional events.

Person Specification
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative, management, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting, data, administrative management practices and procedures clerical practices and procedures.
• Significant experience in a senior management role, preferably with a background in business development and operations.
• Experience in developing internal systems.
• Demonstrate strong sales acumen and the capability to establish and nurture customer relationships.
• Possess excellent English language proficiency, enabling effective communication and presentation delivery in English.

Special Requirements
Able to undertake duties at different premises. Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to effectively support the company's operations and events. Travel may be required in order to attend conferences, events, new projects and effectively represent the Company in key networks.
