Job Description: OPEN ONLY TO UF FACULTY The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of the Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies. The Director serves as (1) chief administrative officer of the Center, calling and presiding at departmental meetings, supervising day-to-day activities, and organizing the Center's academic and public events (2) coordinator of all aspects of the academic program, such as degree requirements, curricular offerings, catalog announcements, class scheduling, and faculty teaching assignments, (3) chief financial officer of the unit, actively engaged in fundraising, preparing budgets and supervising all receipts of money and expenditures, (4) hiring authority for all searches for new faculty and staff members, (5) evaluator of faculty and staff performance and coordinator of merit pay decisions; (6) liaison to the office of the Dean of the College.
Advertised Salary: The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
