Summary
The Reimer Lab (
https://www.bcm.edu/research/faculty-labs/jacob-reimer-lab
) studies sensory processing across different brain states and the
mechanisms that control the gating and routing of information in
the brain. We are seeking a postdoctoral associate with
computational neuroscience expertise for processing and analysis of
multimodal neural and behavioral data.
Job Duties
- uses our data processing pipeline software to identify,
implement, and validate appropriate data processing and analysis
methods, and assists in the code base needed to produce figures and
analyses for publications and grant proposals.
- Provides programming support for multiple projects in the lab
via software written using Python and DataJoint.
- Provides training and support for other members of the lab who
are in the process of learning to program.
- Manages and contributes to a lab code base on GitHub and help
implement uniform computing environments using Docker.
- Helps to interface our acquisition and analysis code with new
or existing software frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related
field.
- No experience required.
